Harriet Kisakye (1980-2015) was a prominent Ugandan recording artist, born in Kayunga Town Council, Wakiso District, to Mr. Musisi Charles and the late Lillian Namwangye. She was known for her remarkable contributions to the music industry.

Harriet, a mother of two sons, Kiberu Marvin and the late Kawooya Shakul, tragically lost Kawooya in 2016 under mysterious circumstances right after he received his school report card.

In her final days, Harriet Kisakye was hospitalized at Mulago National Referral Hospital for over two weeks before being transferred to the International Hospital Kampala (IHK), under the care of Dr. Ian Clarke, a former clerk of Makindye Division. Her transfer to IHK was facilitated by Dr. Kizza Besigye, the former leader of the Opposition party FDC, and Erias Lukwago, Kampala's Lord Mayor. Harriet was an ardent supporter of FDC and often performed at the party's rallies, particularly during the 2011 presidential elections
