Mary Bata

Mary Bata Namakula is a Ugandan female music artist, singer and songwriter who has been known for posting some sexually explicit photos on social media pages including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. 

Mary Bata was born on 22nd December 1993 in Mulago hospital in Kampala which is the largest government owned hospital in Uganda. 

Mary Bata studied her primary school education but could not continue with her secondary school education due to lack of school fees and therefore she dropped out of school.

During that time she had lost both her parents and therefore became an orphan and she had to fend for herself. 

After dropping out of school, she decided to look for some jobs that she could do and she later landed a job as a nanny where she was tasked to prepare food, clean the house and also take care of children of her boss at the time.

 She decided to join the church choir at the church where she used to go and that is when she realised that she could actually sing and become a music star.

After singing in the church choir for some time, she decided to join a music group called Kream productions.

During her time at Kream production, she got her breakthrough by releasing her first hit song that was called disappointment and this song brought Mary Bata to the limelight into the hands of the Ugandan music lovers who loved the song and hence requested for it during the different music shows at different media houses.

 Mary Bata later decided to quit Kream Productions and join Magic Empire where she signed a long term talent management agreement alongside with also Rydiim Empire in 2015.

She has released very many songs and among these are songs like  Tugenda komawa,BaxRagga, Darling, and others.

She is a very versatile music artist who can do very many music genres like  Zouk, Afrobeat, Afropop, Ragga Dancehall, and Band.
